FITS THE FOLLOWING VEHICLES:

1996-2004

ACURA

3.5RL - V6 3.5L F.I. (SOHC)

 

Location: Behind the glove compartment*

Quantity: There are 2 filters

Flat rate: 30 minutes

 

1. Disengage the lower right hand cover retaining clips, then remove the cover.

2. Remove the stops located at each side of the glove compartment. WARNING. Be careful of the Air bag.

3. Disconnect the trunk lid release switch electrical connector.

4. Remove the two bolts.

5. Remove the three rear cover retaining screws, and disengage the four clips; remove the cover.

6. Remove the filter cover from the housing.

7. Put the ignition switch in the On position and place recirculation

control switch to re-circulate.

8. remove the cabin air filter housings from the recirculation housing.

9. Separate the first cabin air filter housing from the second cabin air filter

housing, then remove the first filter housing,

10. Remove the second cabin air filter housing from the recirculation

housing.

11. Remove the cabin air filter elements from the filter housings.

12. Install the new cabin air filter elements into the filter housings.

13. Position the second cabin air filter to the recirculation housing.

14. Connect the first cabin air filter to the second cabin air filter, then install

the cabin air filters into the recirculation housing.

15. Install the recirculation housing filter cover.
